Motoren Technik Mayer started as an engine-tuning company run by an engineer who had worked on Audi's five-cylinder engine. It tunes Audi and other Volkswagen Group cars, and is known for the twin-engined MTM bimoto and a 1999 Zolder 24 Hours win.
