Privacy policy
Last updated 26 October 2026.
CarSpecHub does not ask you to create an account and does not collect personal information through forms. This policy explains what happens when you visit.
Cookies and advertising
We show ads through Google AdSense to keep the site free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on those visits.
You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads or analytics cookies are used.
More detail: how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It records information such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type. It does not tell us who you are.
Fonts and images
Fonts load from Google Fonts and photos load from Wikimedia, so those services receive your IP address when you view a page.
VIN lookup
When you use the VIN lookup, your browser sends the VIN directly to the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's public decoder (vpic.nhtsa.dot.gov), which also sees your IP address. We don't receive or store the VIN.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, POPIA or CCPA) you may have the right to access or delete data held about you. Because we hold no personal data ourselves, requests about advertising or analytics data are best made to Google. For anything else, email [email protected].
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change and show the date at the top.
