Where the numbers come from

Engine and power figures come from the European Environment Agency's 2025 type-approval records, covering 270 engine and power combinations. Torque, acceleration, top speed and each version's details come from manufacturer specifications. Dimensions come from those and the Dutch vehicle registry, US fuel economy from FuelEconomy.gov, and model histories from Wikidata. We match each car across markets by hand, so a Toyota Starlet in South Africa links to the Suzuki Baleno it is built from.
